About the Society
Cantab DC
The Cambridge Society of Washington, DC, a.k.a. "Cantab DC,"
is the Washington hub for Cambridge alumni. Our group is open to all
those formally affiliated with Cambridge University, regardless of their
college affiliation, faculty or years of attendance. We seek to enrich
the experience of all alumni in the DC area.
Membership is restricted to those having a formal affiliation with
Cambridge University. Those seeking to attend the University are not
allowed as members, but are encouraged to read our FAQs page. There are no membership dues or registration
requirements. To become a member, however, your formal affiliation must
be verified with the University.
Our group is
member-driven and provides a range of meet-ups and other ways of keeping
in contact. Alumni are encouraged to contact the Vice Presidents about proposing or assisting with an event.
Cantab DC liaises with Cambridge in America, and is happy to work
with the University as well as with individual colleges and faculties on
event-planning and in other areas. Cantab DC also works with other
British university alumni groups in the DC region.
Cantab DC is incorporated in Washington, D.C. as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. Sponsorship opportunities are now available!
Questions about Cantab DC should be referred to the Board's Secretary.
