The Cambridge-Oxford Potomac Boat Race
  Cantab DC Light Blue
The Potomac Boat Race Returns!

The great Cambridge-Oxford Potomac Boat Race is on and the lineups are set! The race will take place October 6th on the Georgetown waterfront. Spectators can view the race from the Georgetown Waterfront. Men's, Women's, and Past Masters teams will race the Other Place for the Cup of Destiny. The festivities will begin at approximately 2:00PM and the races will start above Key Bridge at 2:30. A facilitator will be on hand at the waterfront to relay live information as the boats approach the finish line at the Waterfront.

Be sure to support the Light Blue by sporting your college attire, boat club blazers, scarves or whatever finery you picked up while at Cambridge. As Cantab DC's oldest and most successful event it would be great to see a strong Cambridge turnout to support our Light Blue squads and the Society.

After the races, participants and supporters will congregate at Nick's Riverside Grill for libations and further celebrations. We have arranged for a Pimms special to be served at the bar in honour of this favorite British tradition. Cantab DC will also be holding a raffle for some Cambridge souvenirs, so come play your luck and support the society!

If your company or organization would like to support the Cambridge Boats, please take a look at our Sponsorship Opportunities for corporate benefits and more information! Or feel free to make an online donation to our society to help support the Cambridge Boat Club.
