Darwin College Fellow, Professor Lawrence Sherman, will be hosting dinner at the exclusive Cosmos Club in Washington DC on Friday, February 21st from 6:30 - 9:30 pm.

Professor Lawrence Sherman is an alumnus of Darwin College (1972 Criminology) and has been a Fellow of Darwin College since 2009.


Lawrence is Director of the Institute of Criminology of the University of Cambridge, where he has served as Wolfson Professor of Criminology since 2007. He is Director of both the Jerry Lee Centre for Experimental Criminology and the Cambridge Police Executive Programme.  


He has served as President of the American Society of Criminology, the International Society of Criminology, the American Academy of Political and Social Science, and the Academy of Experimental Criminology.
