Celebrate the Scottish Bard Robert Burns!

A Traditional Salute to Scottish Heritage with an Address to the Haggis!

THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT.

Do you remember those cold January nights in Cambridge? Perhaps you also remember an overly keen Scottish student trying to drag you out of your cozy room to a night of poetry and light-hearted banter? Well, it's about to happen again!

For the first time since 2019, Cantab DC will be celebrating Burns Night! Join dozens of your fellow alumni in a light-hearted evening that celebrates the life and poetry of the Bard of Scotland.

The Burns Night Supper will take place at The Cosmos Club on Massachusetts Avenue. The event includes dinner (standard and vegetarian options available), wine, a taste of Haggis, and coffee/tea service.

💃 Dress code is semi-formal with tartans and kilts encouraged! The Cosmos Club expects that gentlemen wear jackets, dress slacks, a collared long-sleeved shirt (tucked-in) or turtleneck at all times. Ladies are expected to dress in an equivalent fashion, which means dresses, suits, skirts or dress slacks with jackets or tops of equivalent formality. Leggings or tights must be worn with skirts, dresses, or long jackets. Military uniforms and national dress of equivalent formality are also acceptable.

Register below. Ticketing is open from January 3 through January 15. Early Birds: Register by 11:59pm on Sunday, January 8 for the early-bird price of $135. After Sunday, the standard price will be $150.

Please note that we cannot offer refunds; all purchases are final. However, tickets can be transferred. Transfer requests must be made in writing (email) to Cantab DC. Transferred tickets will retain the same dietary preference and/or dietary restrictions as indicated by the original ticket holder.
